Leave A Gift in Your Will

A gift that can make a difference for future generations

Help shape a future where children are protected from coercion, psychological harm and the loss of safe family connections.

Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved and free to develop their own identity, express their feelings and maintain relationships with the people who care for them, without being subjected to coercion, manipulation or pressure to withdraw their affection from others. Unfortunately, many children experience psychological and relational harm that is poorly recognised, with consequences that can continue into adulthood and affect their emotional wellbeing, attachment relationships and sense of belonging.

At Eeny Meeny Miney Mo Foundation Ltd (EMMM), we are committed to improving recognition and understanding of these experiences through education, advocacy and support for affected families. By including EMMM in your Will, you can contribute to the continuation of this work, helping future generations benefit from greater awareness, improved professional responses and stronger protections for children experiencing coercive control and other forms of psychological harm.

Helping Protect Future Generations

The consequences of childhood coercion, psychological abuse and interference with safe family relationships can extend across generations, influencing how individuals understand themselves, establish trust, form attachments and navigate relationships throughout their lives. When these experiences are misunderstood or overlooked, opportunities for early recognition and appropriate intervention may be lost, leaving children and families without the understanding or assistance they need.

A gift in your Will can support EMMM's ongoing efforts to address these gaps by enabling us to develop and distribute free psychoeducational resources, strengthen community and professional understanding, support families navigating harmful relational dynamics and advocate for improvements within the systems responsible for children's safety and wellbeing. Through education, research-informed advocacy and greater public awareness, we aim to contribute to lasting improvements in how children are heard, how their experiences are assessed and how families are supported when coercive and harmful behaviours affect their relationships.

Your generosity can contribute to a future in which more children receive appropriate protection and support before the consequences of psychological and relational harm become deeply entrenched.

Leaving a Gift Through Willed

Making a Will provides an opportunity to consider how you would like your estate to be distributed, ensure that the people closest to you are provided for and, should you wish, extend your generosity to a cause that reflects your personal values and hopes for future generations.

EMMM is pleased to partner with Willed, an Australian online Will-writing service that provides an accessible way to prepare a legally valid Will when the required signing and witnessing formalities are followed. Through Willed, you can consider your estate planning wishes and choose to include a charitable gift to EMMM, whether as a specific monetary amount, a percentage of your estate or a share of the remaining estate after other provisions have been fulfilled.

There is no expectation to leave a particular amount, and your decision to include EMMM should always reflect your individual circumstances and responsibilities to loved ones. For those who choose to support our Foundation in this way, a bequest provides an opportunity to contribute to the education, advocacy and support that may improve the lives of children and families long into the future.

We are calling for Australian law to recognise and respond to child coercive control and alienating behaviours as serious forms of psychological abuse and family violence, particularly where children are manipulated into rejecting safe relationships or where legal and protective systems are misused to intensify that harm.
